Description

** WILL REQUIRE MINIMAL TRIMMING DURING INSTALL ** One package includes 1 front & 1 back overlay decal. Installation Procedure : 1. Clean emblem surface thoroughly with soap and water to remove all dirt and wax. Let dry thoroughly – Don’t use rubbing alcohol. 2. Measure the emblem and only use what portion of vinyl that is needed - cut off unneeded vinyl first – you may have extra left over for wheel cap bowties BONUS!! – BUT is NOT always the case – depending on size of emblems. 3. Remove vinyl from paper backing. Very slowly and carefully apply the vinyl to emblem surface – start at one end and work to the other. 4. Apply pressure from the center out if there are any air bubbles. Any air bubbles can be removed with a needle/pin as a last resort if they cannot be removed with firm pressure from a squeegee. 5. Once the vinyl is applied, work the vinyl into all corners of the emblem. This should give you a clean outline of the bowtie emblem. 6. Cut off the excess around the edges with an X-acto knife or razor blade – USE CAUTION WHEN CUTTING AROUND CORNERS AND CURVES. REMOVE EXCESS OUTER VINYL. 7. Run your finger nail along the edge of the decal to seal and smooth out the cut edges. BUBBLES ARE A RESULT OF INCORRECT APPLICATION – NOT A PRODUCT DEFECT – TAKE YOUR TIME AND WORK THE VINYL ONTO THE EMBLEM.
